As a strategic buyer for new business, you focus on, among other things, recruiting new contract suppliers with the primary goal of realizing purchasing benefits for the affiliated wholesalers. You also strive for optimal efficiency in the chain in the field of purchasing, logistics, IT, data and marketing. You lower the integral cost price for the affiliated wholesalers and you intensify the chain collaboration between suppliers, wholesalers and end users.
In this way you contribute to the ambition of Zevij-Necomij: an unmissable market player when it comes to purchasing hardware, tools and technical products for construction and industry.
How are you going to handle that?
In this versatile, dynamic role you are not only a buyer for Zevij-Necomij, but also a strategic sparring partner for potential contract suppliers.
As a commercial-strategic purchaser of new business, you look at which potential suppliers are eligible on the basis of market analysis. You invite these suppliers, whereby you sell the added value of our organization. As a representative of Zevij-Necomij you offer logistics solutions, automate administrative (invoicing) processes and provide suppliers with market information (Business Intelligence). You help suppliers to improve their competitive position by optimizing the chain in the field of price, logistics, data, marketing and ICT.
You sell the broad added value of Zevij-Necomij to Sales Managers and Management of potential contract suppliers in a decisive and creative way. You visit interesting (inter)national fairs. In strategic sessions you involve suppliers in the development of customer-specific (digital) services and activities. You are also the point of contact for Zevij-Necomij within Euro Craft, our partner for European cooperation of purchasing organizations. Together with the other Euro Craft partners, the aim is to improve the competitive position of the affiliated wholesalers. In joint consultation with Euro Craft you select suppliers for a cooperation agreement.
Purpose of the position?
Strengthen collaboration between suppliers, wholesalers and end users. You will be supported by assortment committees in which product and market experts from the wholesalers affiliated with Zevij-Necomij are represented. Sustainability and corporate social responsibility are of paramount importance.
With your inventiveness and drive you make an indispensable contribution to the further negotiation of Zevij-Necomij’s purchasing conditions and thus to an optimization of the services for the affiliated wholesalers. You report to the Purchasing Manager.
